Nov. 10 -- Classwork

Make sure you understand the policy

Click here for what is broken
Think of three different things around school or in your daily life that are broken like Seth Godin says in this piece . . . signs, commercials, school policies, dating habits, whatever . . .

Click here for words from a very wise man
What can you say about the wisdom and empathy of this great man?  You noticed that he is a Holocaust survivor, didn't you?  How can he be so good, so positive, so wise?  What do you think of his message and why?

On Friday we will begin the work for the human rights contest that you read about last class.  You will also have a quiz on the readings I have given you while I was gone.  If you were absent and have not finished up all the work I have given you, I suggest you read the blogs and get it to me.  If you were in class and elected not to turn the work in, you will suffer a grade reduction.  No exceptions.

Ms. Greer

p.s.  I will be glad to be back with all of you.
