March 11 -- Animation Studies for Homework (Due Friday, March 15)

Click here for great little film about ancestors.

Click here for world's largest animation.

Click here for cool story made with cardboard and paper.

Click here for really cool new perspective on a stop-motion. At the end, you will see some of how it was done.

Draw up a plan for a stop-motion. Include two scenery slides. Write out the story and give a rough sketch of your characters. This rough sketch can be a drawing, or a picture of the little character you built.

The best ideas will be shot and made into movies. Yes, you are allowed to adapt a story. For example, you can use a fairy tale or something else that is in the public domain. That means no Disney or other things unless you are doing a parody.

10 pts. for scenery shots
10 pts. for storyline
10 pts. for character sketch
30 pts. total (Homework grade)
