April 13, 2013 - Green screen assignment (25 pts formative) Due end of day on Tuesday

Yesterday, classes that had block worked on green screen clips that they did of themselves. Everyone will be doing this project.

You must add audio to your piece and get it ready for showing. We will build a compilation and load to YouTube. If you do not like what you shot, then you may shoot your green screen again.

Several things about safety. The lights cannot be touched. They are very hot and the oil from you hand can make the bulbs explode.

Again, the lights are very hot and we don't want them on unnecessarily. So work fast.

The goal is to be able to tell stories with the green screen.

For example, could you tell a children's story with the green screen? What would you need to insert yourself in The Three Little Pigs, for instance?

Rubric for green screen

Story/sketch/joke was good -- 15 pts
Audio was good -- 5 pts
Illusion was good (no missing hands, etc.) 5 pts.
Use of props is a welcome bonus
